This Is How You Should NEVER Wash Your Face !

Boy or girl, we all take care of our facial hygiene the most. And washing your face is the very first thing you do when you wake up. But, did you know that there is actually a wrong way to wash your face?

Yup, there is. And if you don’t wash your face regularly, dirt and bacteria may stay on your face, causing even eczema! And you wouldn’t want that. So, here are the most common mistakes people do while washing their face.

Try avoiding them if they’ve became a habit for you.

Not washing your face before you go to bed – definitely avoid this one! Learn to wash your face before going to bed or even better – take a shower! Irrelevant on what you work and if you wear make up or not, the skin develops a “buildup” during the day. Not washing this extra layer, you make it more probable to get acne and other skin irritations, as well as inflammation.

Not washing your face in the morning – I don’t believe that there’s anyone who can miss this, except if they’re in such a big hurry, they barely have the time to dress up. I mean, at least for me, it’s a better morning wake up call than my morning coffee. your skin will feel refreshed and it will be better prepared to absorb any skin-care product that you use daily.

Avoid really hot water – while warm water can be soothing for a smoother skin and opening your pores even more – apply this at night, using hot water is an all time and definite NO for the skin on your face. Extreme water temperature may cause more harm than it could do good. In this case, extremely hot water can alter the skin’s natural defense mechanisms.

Wrong cleanser – I bet many of us have tried many facial products, among which cleansers that have done more harm than good. When we talk about facial care, the skin on our face distinguishes the most. It’s not the same even on our face – the T zone and the rest of the face mostly have different skin types. Make sure to choose your cleanser based on your skin type.

  • Cream cleansers do great for people with oily skin
  • Gentle hydrating cleansers are ideal for those with sensitive skin
  • Salicylic acid-based cleansers are a great choice for people who are prone to acne

Try to avoid these common mistakes and make a really strict habit of washing your face first thing in the morning and also, before you go to bed.
